Okay, I know you have seen it. That kind of annoying, yet kind of interesting infomercial for the P90X workout program. To be quite honest, I never paid much attention to it until my wife pointed it out to me. I mean, I knew it existed but I just chose to ignore it. So Amanda (my wife) called me over and was like hey check this out this is the P90X workout program, do you think it will work? So she and I watched the infomercial and that is the last thing that was said until a couple of days later when she told me she ordered it. I said ¡°ordered what¡± and she said ¡°you know P90X¡±, that workout infomercial we watched the other day.
So, about 4 days pass and it was delivered. I waited until my wife returned from work and we opened the package and viewed the contents. Then started just watching the videos to see what we were up against and to also find out about other equipment needed to complete the P90X workout.
So from what we found (from viewing and completing the workout), you do need more than the minimum P90X workout equipment required (resistance bands and pullup bar) to fully complete the program. For example, those who never tried yoga, would really benefit from some yoga blocks to help with the stretching. Also, work out mats and dumbells (easier than resistant bands in my opinion) in different weights will also help you get the most from the workout. However, do not let the added cost stop you from giving the P90X workout a go. Trust me, this is really not expensive equipment and all can be had at Walmart for cheap. I do recommend that if you can afford it, to buy the equipment from BeachBody, the makers of P90X. They have been specifically developed and constructed for P90X and are an excellent value. If you cant afford to get the needed equipment from BeachBody, I recommend going to Walmart.
