The first and most important rule for this board and that is be respectful to others. It is our intention for this to be a place for positive discussion of all things related to health and fitness. We realize that in this arena there are a lot of differing opinions on a variety of topics and debate is encouraged. However, we would like to keep all debates civil. Any posts that are blatantly inflammatory or a personal attack on another member will be removed and the author suspended or possibly removed from the board.
The next rule is in regards to spamming. We consider spamming to be any blatant advertisement or promotion of products or services that is out of context to a board or discussion. We have no problem with anyone promoting their health or fitness related business while making a positive contribution to our boards. We recommend putting a link in your signature so people can easily access your business. However, if you have nothing to contribute other than plugs your post will be removed.
The only other rule I can think of is to not intentionally spread false information. It is our goal to provide not only support to those seeking to improve their lives through health and fitness, but also to educate them. For that reason it is important that if you are presenting something as a fact, you need to be able to back it up. If you are presenting something that is a personal experience than make sure to introduce it as such.
We thank you for your adherence to these few simple rules, and welcome you to our community of health and fitness enthusiasts. We encourage you to share and learn as much as you can.
