Chapter I: I wasn't sure what motivated me to enter a gym 7 to 8 years ago. The first 3 years I put in was "on and off" commitment to weight training, cardio, and dieting. I saw some results, but not enough to tell myself I'm satisfied with where I'm at. I wanted to go further. 2003 was the beginning of my renaissance....My focus became stronger and my commitment was no longer negotiable. It was all or nothing! At first the weight training and cardio felt like cleaning out an attic or garage (really...who wants to do that!). Dieting felt like going to rehab to get clean. 2 months in, all bad exercise and dieting habits were surrendered for a better cause. My goal was to look beyond the mirror into the future and see my TRUE potential. From good to great… From June 2003 to June 2004 I have achieved the following accomplishments: Lost 30 lbs, cut down my body fat % to 15%-, and entered the first stage of successful toning. This is just the beginning………………

Dieting felt like going to rehab to get clean. ;D One of my new favorite quotes. I'm anxiously waiting for the next installment of this saga.
