This chapter is dedicated to the corporate people who dropped their compass along their path through the forest of life pointing in the direction to vitality...
Chapter I ended in 2004. One of the biggest challenges that came across in my life from 2005 to now is how to successfully manage my health, fitness, plus the stereotyped lifestyle of corporate America. To be honest, I partially gave into it from 2005 to the end of 2007. I continued to weight train and do cardio, but I lost sight of nutrition. I started to eat traditional corporate lunches and dinners (rich fatty foods cooked in Hell's kitchen) My weight went from 186 lbs to 228 lbs in 2 years. I'm not sure what my body fat % was. In March 08, Brian did my weight and body fat measurements for the first time in 2.5 years. I was shocked (225 lbs and 29% body fat!...oh HELL to the NO!). I looked at my pictures from 2004 and I remember how great it was. I then decided to take on a new challenge and commitment....to live and breathe health/fitness as a lifestyle and try to do my best to promote it to others as well. I immediately went back to rehab (dieting) and had Brian put me on a 6-7 day workout plan (live free or die hard). I dropped down to 205lbs and 12-15% body fat. Some people in corporate tell themselves everyday there is NO TIME to workout and there is NO TIME to eat right. Surrender to temptation of rich expensive restaurant food and long work hours. I am member of corporate America. I work an average of 50 hours per week. I invest 5 days of weight training and 2 days of cardio a week. I am living proof that it is possible to manage this lifestyle. No need for excuses anymore............
