I was in search of a new blender on New Year's eve to make some frozen drinks at the party we were throwing. After stopping in at a couple stores in the mall I finally went to Target. That's where I found this awesome blender from Hamilton Beach:

Not only does it have two separate blades that have independent controls but it has an 80oz capacity container with pour spout. That's twice the capacity of almost ever other blender I saw. Needless to say the volume of it made drink mixing a lot easier, but also being able to put one blade on high and the other on low created a churning effect that resulted in the smoothest frozen drinks I've ever made.
It gets even better, it also comes with two individual travel containers!! I used to blend my protein shakes so that I could add stuff like fruit or peanut butter, but it was too much of a hassle. I had to blend it then transfer it to a travel bottle then wash everything. With these travel containers you just blend it in the container then flip it, unscrew the blade and screw on the cap. Good to go. And with two of them I can put separate ingredients for regular and post workout shakes and I only have t blend once.
Bottom line this blender has the best of all worlds and I give it two huge thumbs up. I've never been so excited about a kitchen appliance. My wife thinks I'm nuts.
