What kind of eatmeal do you use? Would Quaker Oats be sufficient? I don't mean the packets. Especially with todays economy going out and buying fancy brands isn't really a viable option.

Quaker oats are fine, that's what I use. Just make sure that you get the whole oats or "Old Fashion" as they are labled. The 1 minute instant oats are no missing much of the nutrient and fiber content. Make sure that you read the lable carefully because the two packages look identical.

Thanks. And yes I've started looking more at labels and trying to learn about ingredients and what not. I've learned for instance that a lot of bread companies will try and sell their bread as being whole grain but they're marketing it as made with whole grain and people think they're eating something healthy but the major ingredient listed is still white flour or something. I only use bread products that say 100 percent on it.
