"Whether or not we realize it each of us has a special gift inside us just waiting to surface!...We owe developing these gifts not only to ourselves, but those around us as well... The important thing here is not what your gift is as much as that you develop it so that you can share it with those around you and in the process further your own personal life!... Once we have identified our special talents it doesn't matter whether or not we find immediate success in them, what does matter is that we take a step each day towards our intended goal!" Author: Josh Hinds
The same thing can be said for those of us striving to reach fitness goals. That person that you want to be is right there just waiting to surface. Success may not come immediately, but if you want it bad enough and believe in yourself you can achieve it.

"Now' is the operative word. Everything you put in your way is just a method of putting off the hour when you could actually be doing your dream. You don't need endless time and perfect conditions. Do it now. Do it today. Do it for twenty minutes and watch your heart start beating." Author: Barbara Sher
We have become a society of procrastinators. We've adopted the mind set of "Why do today what you can put off 'till tomorrow". This is especially true when it comes to fitness. We stack up reasons why we can't get started today. I'll let you in on a secret, you don't need hours of time or expensive equipment. You don't even need to belong to a gym. There is so much you can do right now in your house with no equipment. Just do it.

It takes a consistancy.... You will feel better once you get that 30mins or so in.... Get off the couch and get moving!!!! ;D

Here's one I always thought of, it was used in an add by Adidas, (I think)
"In a world where everyone is getting stronger, faster, and better; If you stay the same you are actually getting weaker."

I always liked, "Laziness breeds efficiency!"
If you can figure out how to do something a lot quicker and more efficiently then the next guy, you can spend more time celebrating your victories.

The quote that motivated me to excel in fitness was "A man who fails is a man who fails to try" (LL Cool J "Rocking With The Goat" video). I still chant this quote today...

Motivation is the key to your survival. That internal motivation will gather more clients as well as keep you working on a project which has lost your interest. If you have briefly lost your motivation, take a break from your work. Take a nap. Exercise. Allow your brain to recharge. That boost of energy will carry you to the project’s completion.
